Alessandro Ricci - University of Bologna, Italy

Alessandro Ricci is a researcher at the Second Faculty of Engineering, Cesena, University of Bologna, affiliated to DEIS (Dipartimento di Elettronica Informatica e Sistemistica), since 01/01/2006. He got a PhD from DEIS (University of Bologna) in 2004,  with a thesis entitled "Engineering Agent Societies with Coordination Artifacts and Supporting Infrastructures".
His main research activities concern agents and multiagent systems as a paradigm for computer programming and software engineering. He is author of several articles appeared in international journals and conference proceedings. He is part of the program committee of  key conferences and workshops in the context of Agents and MultiAgent Systems research.

Paulo Fernando Ferreira Rosa - Militar Institute of Engineering - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil

Paulo Rosa is graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1986), had his MsC in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology - Japan (1994) and his Ph.D. in Information Engineering – from Niigata University - Japan (1997). He was coordinator of the Graduate Program in Systems and Computer at IME-RJ during 2004-07. In 2007, he served as general coordinator of the XXVII Congress of the Brazilian Computer Society. Currently, he is an associate professor of the Military Institute of Engineering and vice-coordinator of its Graduate Program. He has experience in Robotics and Automation, mainly in the following areas: autonomous mobile robots, flexible manipulators, home automation / smart home and unmanned aerial vehicles.
